Student Intern

Mona is a senior in bioengineering with a computer science minor at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. While working in a cochlear implant laboratory, she developed an interest in how machine learning could be used to develop technology to improve hearing function. During summer 2022, she will be working with the lab to learn about and develop deep learning tools to analyze cochlear hair cell imaging data.
