Undergraduate Research Assistant

Dhun Chauhan is a junior at Northeastern University where she is majoring in Biology. Dhun has worked in the Mother-Child Wellness Clinical and Research Center at Boston Medical Center for about a year where she studied the effects of dietary intake and environmental stressors experienced by women during their prepartum stage on the brain development of the child. She is interested in learning more about neurobiology, circuit formation and understanding the role of proteins in generating response to stimuli. Dhun has joined the laboratory in July of 2019 as an undergraduate research assistant focusing on molecular biology techniques and mouse models of inherited deafness.
