Postdoctoral Fellow

Dr. Chunjie Tian earned his Medical Degree in Clinical Medicine (2003), completed his Internship training in Clinical Medicine (2004) and Masters Degree in Pathology (2011) from the YanBian University School of Medicine in China. Dr. Tian then received his PhD in Otolaryngology from AJOU University in Korea (2014), exploring the mechanisms underlying the hair cell degeneration following introduction of aminoglycosides and investigating the ways to protect the cells against it. Chunjie joined the Indzhykulian laboratory in July of 2018 as a Postdoctoral Fellow. His work is focused on investigating the function of novel proteins recently identified at the surface of stereocilia.
