Undergraduate Research Assistant

Auntara Nandi is an undergraduate student from Birla Institute Of Technology & Science, Pilani University (India) majoring in Pharmaceutical Sciences. Previously Auntara spent a semester as an undergraduate intern at Buck Institute for Research on Aging, where she was involved in developing a novel transgenic mouse model targeting a subtype of senescent cells. Auntara is interested in expanding her expertise neurobiology and neuroscience. She joined the Indzhykulian laboratory as a research assistant and will primarily focus her effort on developing AAV-based gene therapies for Usher Syndrome.
