Daniel Hathaway

Candidate for Bachelor of Science in Cell and Molecular Biology, Northeastern University

Daniel Hathaway is in his second year studying cellular and molecular biology with a minor in mathematics at Northeastern University. After preliminary sample collection in extreme environments throughout Chile during a study abroad this summer, Daniel began working in the Chai laboratory in Northeastern’s Department of Biology. He has spent time researching microbiology and antibiotics contributing to the research effort to culture and isolate bacterial strains from these samples. Daniel joined the Indzhykulian laboratory in January of 2019 as a co-op acting as an undergraduate research assistant and is interested in translational research.
